👮‍♂️ Today, officers have been out across the district providing a high-visibility presence in our communities, helping to keep residents safe and reassured. 💙🏘️

🤝 Throughout the day, we have engaged with many members of the public while they were out and about, as well as visiting and checking in with local businesses. 🛍️🏪 These conversations are invaluable in helping us understand local concerns and continue supporting our communities. 💬💙

🚔 Alongside our proactive patrols, officers responded swiftly to an incident that unfolded before them while out on duty. Following suspicious behaviour, a vehicle was stopped and searched. 🚨

As a result:

🔹 🚔 One occupant was arrested on suspicion of: ▪️ Possession of drugs with intent to supply 💊 ▪️ Driving whilst under the influence of drugs 🚗❌ ▪️ Driving without insurance 📄❌

🔹 🚔 A second occupant was arrested on suspicion of: ▪️ Possession of drugs with intent to supply 💊 ▪️ Immigration offences 📋

🔹 🔍 In separate circumstances, a further two individuals were also stop searched as part of ongoing proactive policing activity
